If we wanted to find a philosophy through which to tell the story of Rucoline, it would be the philosophy of TRAVEL. The journey of a brand, and the journey of its founder. A journey that opens up to the future with the ambition of touching everything world. A journey characterized by an attitude: to travel the roads of the world, keeping strong one's roots. It is 1985 and Marco Santucci, founder and CEO of Rucoline, is a young landlord in Bocachica who buys colorful shoes, woven with a fishing needle, every day from a lady in the Haitian neighborhood. Collected one after the other, he takes them to Italy together with an idea, starting an extraordinary adventure.
